To go steadily by springing steps so that both feet leave the ground for an instant in each step or both feet in the air at one is called running. During walking one foot is always on the ground. Jogging is running slowly and sprinting is running fast. Running is the best exercise a person can do for his body, his mind and his waistline. It is one of the most accessible activities.

There are plenty of benefits to a regular running routine. Running can make you feel good, look good, breathe easier, more coordinated, and more energized and it is great for your bones and heart. Some people run just because they enjoy it, others run to lose weight, clear there mind or just to improve their health. Running is one of the most effective ways to manage your weight because it burns a lot of calories. When you are burning more calories than you consume, you lose weight. Running regularly can be great for your heart health as well. Running can lower your blood pressure and give your arteries a good workout to keep them functioning smoothly. Running can help to increase your coordination makes you control your temper.

Running is often thought as a solitary activity, but in fact, it is being increasingly used as means of building peace and well-being, improving social conditions and bringing people together by groups and organizations from all over the world. Part of the reason is undoubtedly that running is one of the simplest forms of human expressions and something that most of us can do even a little of. It is also good to run right before attempting the HCG diet plan as you can build muscle that will help with the weight loss. The HCG diet is effective but even more effective with running.

For runners, here are some important running tips that can make them a good runner:

One should get out the door and better to run for one mile than to think about running five.

The runner should set his goals high. He should make sure to have a running goal accomplish. This will keep him focused.

The runner should try some different running workouts. Add some intervals a tempo runs, tartlets, a long run, or progressive runs to your routine.

The runner must get a running watch. He should keep track of how long you have ran and how much time it took. You could even get a GPS watch that stores all this running information for him.

Hit the trails. The runner should run on grass instead of pavement. This can help prevent injuries.

Sit-ups can help prevent the dreaded side stitch. Runners should drink more fluids to help with cramp prevention.

The runners should keep tracks of his runs. He should log how far he has run, and how long it took him. He can do this in a running journal, or a running log online.

Get a running buddy. It is easy to stay motivated if you have a friend or if you are part of a team.

The runner should buy a pair of running shoes. Running is relatively inexpensive activity. The only thing, a runner really need to invest in is running shoes.

Many of us have very busy lives and to fit our workouts in a schedule that is already fill with family, job, commute and many other more important things. Some people often find themselves, short of time for training so they always look for short but intense and efficient workouts. Running is often thought as a solitary activity, but in fact it is being increasingly used as means of building peace and well-being, improving social conditions and bringing people together by groups and organizations from all over the world. Part of the reason is undoubtedly that running is one of the simplest forms of human expressions and something that most of us can do even a little of.

A characteristic feature of a running body from the viewpoint of spring mass mechanics is that changes in kinetic and potential energy within a stride occur simultaneously, with energy storage accomplished by springy tendons and passive muscle elasticity. The term running can refer to any of the variety of speed ranging from jogging to springing.

Running workouts enhance a person’s physical and mental abilities and improve things like hcg in their body. There are plenty of benefits to a regular running routine. Running workouts can make you feel good, look good, breath easier, more coordinated, and more energized and it is great for your bones and heart. Some people run just because they enjoy it, others run to lose weight, clear there mind or just to improve their health. Running workouts is one of the most effective ways to manage your weight because it burns a lot of calories.

When you are burning more calories than you consume, you lose weight. Running regularly can be great for your heart health as well. Running can lower your blood pressure and give your arteries a good workout to keep them functioning smoothly. Running can help to increase your coordination makes you control your temper.

Long run allows you to practice race pace without risking injury because the fast portion is short. It also gets you mentally and physically accustomed to running hard on fatigued legs, a necessary skill for race day. Begin your long run at a pace about a minute shower than goal pace. Two – thirds through the run, speed up to goal pace or slightly faster and maintain it until you have completed your mileage. If you are running more than 16 miles, use the same formula, but only run the last three to four miles at marathon goal pace.

The one minute hill repeats workout is a good work out to fit into 30 minutes. With 1 minute up and 2 minutes job back down you can fir 6-7 hills plus warm up in 30 minutes. After you have tried hills a few times, you can also try to do one hour thirty minutes and two second up and back. This way you will need only 4-5 hill repeats. If you live in a very flat area, you can use the stairs of a tall building or a parking lot or a stadium to achieve similar results.

Track is a sport comprising various competitive athletic contests based around the activities of running jumping and throwing. The name of the sport derives from the venue for the competitors: a stadium which features an oval running track surrounding the grassy area. The throwing and jumping events generally take place with in the central enclosed area.

Track is one of the sports which make up the umbrella sport of athletics. It is under the banner of athletics that two most prestigious international track competitions are held: the athletics competition at the Olympic Games and the IAAF World Champions in Athletics. The International Association of Athletics Federations is the international governing body for track.

Track events are generally individual sports with athletes challenging each other to decide a single victor. The racing events are won by the athlete with the fastest time, while the jumping and throwing events are won by the athlete who has achieved the greatest distance or height in the contest. The running events are categorized as sprints, middle, and long distance events, relays and hurdling. Regular jumping events include long jump, triple jump, high jump, and pole vault, while the most common throwing events are shot put, javelin, discus and hammer. There are also combined events such as heptathlon and decathlon, in which athletes compete in the number of above events.

Records are kept of the best performances in specific events, at world and national levels, right down to the personal level. However, if athletes are deemed to have violated the rules and regulations of the event, they are disqualified from the competition and their marks are erased. The athletes wear small clothes that make running easier; men wear shorts and sleeveless shirts while women wear swim like suits.

The major global track and field competitions are both held under the scope of athletes. Track and field contests make up the majority of events on Olympic athletics program which occurs every four years. Track and field event have held a prominent position at the Summer Olympics since its inception in 1896, and the events are typically held in the main stadium of the Olympics. Events such as the 100 meters receive some of the high levels of media coverage of any Olympic sporting event.

The other two major competitions for track and field are organized by the IAAF. The IAAF had selected the Olympic competition as its world championship event in 1913, but a separate world champions for athletics alone was first held in 1983. The championships comprised track competitions plus the marathon and race walking competitions. Initially, this worked on a quadrennial basis but, after 1991, it changed to a biennial format.

Athletes performances are timed or measured at virtually a; track competitions. Doing so can not only serve as a way of determining the winner in the event but it can also be used for historical comparison. There are hundreds of track world records and every four years these records are beaten by new athletes.

The Guinness book of world records is a reference book published annually, containing the collection of world records, both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book itself holds the world record, as best selling copyrighted book series of all the time. It is also one of the most stolen books from public libraries in the United States.

On 4th May 1951, Sir Hugh Beaver, the managing director of the Guinness Breweries, went on a shooting party in the North Slob, Ireland. He became involved in an argument which was the fastest game bird in Europe, the koshin golden plover or the grouse. That evening at Castle Bridge House he realized that it was impossible to confirm in reference books whether or not the golden plover was Europe’s fastest game bird. Beaver knew that there must be numerous questions debated nightly in pubs throughout Ireland and Britain, but there was no book in the world with which to settle arguments about records. He realized then that a book supplying the answers to this sort of questions might prove popular.

Recent editions have focused on record feats by human competitors. Competitors range from various one such as weight lifting to the longest egg tossing distance or for longest time spent playing Grand Theft Auto 4 or the number of hot dog that can be consumed in ten minutes, although eating contest and beer and alcohol consumption entries are no longer accepted, possibly for fear of litigation. Besides records about competitions, it contains such facts as the heaviest tumor, the most poisonous plant, the shortest river, the longest running drama in the USA, the longest serving members of a drama series, the third longest running drama in the USA, and the world’s most successful salesman, among others. Many records also relate to the youngest person who achieved something, such as the youngest person to visit all nations of the world.

Each edition contains a selection of the large set of records in the Guinness database, and the criteria for that choice have changes over years. The newest records are added, and the records that have been updated are added too.

Several world records that were once included in the book have been removed due to ethical reasons. By publishing world records in the book may encourage others to try to beat that record, even at the expense of their own health and safety. For example, following publication of a heaviest fish record, many fish owners overfed their pets beyond the bounds of what was healthy, so entries as these were removed. The Guinness book of the world records also dropped records within their eating and drinking records section of Human Achievements in 1991 over concerns that potential competitors could do harm to themselves and expose the publisher to potential litigation. These changes included the removal of all liquor, wine, and beer drinking records, along with other unusual records for consuming such unlikely things as bicycles and trees.

Running is a means of terrestrial locomotion allowing humans and other animals to move rapidly on foot. It is simply defined in athletics terms as a gait in which at regular points during the running cycle both feet are off the ground. This is in the contrast to walking, where one foot is always in contact with the ground, the legs are kept mostly straight and the centre of gravity vaults over the legs in an inverted pendulum fashion.

Long distance running covers the 5 kilometer, 10 kilometer, half marathon and marathon events. Comparing last and present world record holders, it would appear that athletes in this event would reach their peak at the following ages:

5 km – Male 27 and Female 29

10 km – Male 20 and Female 31

Marathon – Male 31 and Female 37

There are few long distance running tips for beginners that can make him, a good runner. These long distance running tips for beginners are:

The key to long distance running would be not to run to fast at the initial levels. Instead, run slowly in the first few miles.

The best way to increase speed would be to indulge in fast running for a day or two per week. However, do not start running on a steady pace everyday. This will only lessen your capability.

Remember, feeling lazy or exhausted is very normal. In such a case, there is no harm in indulging in slow pace running. Instead, it would act as a boon for you, as it would allow you to recover your energy to perform better for your quality workouts.

Do not dehydrate your body. Even if you are not thirsty, drink a lot of water. Remember, water holds the key for efficient running and keeps your body in prime condition.

Rest is an important concern, if you are indulging in a long distance running activity. Remember. Our body needs a minimum of two days rest to regain back the energy for the next workout session.

Take rest the rest of your long running and also a day before you have planned your hardest speed workout.

At the start of the new season, look for increasing the mileage base, instead of going for fast pace running. This would keep you tough for the rest of the season

In the early days of the season, engage yourself in a month or two of hill workouts. This would make you stronger, improve the running economy and make you ready for quality workouts and races in the later seasons.

Remember, running fast or at an increased pace will not enhance your race times for longer distances and only leave you injured.
